Many customers complain that when they query FB Ads data in Dataddo their data does not match, generally with action conversions and impressions. There are 3 key things to double-check with your Dataddo source to ensure the data will match.
- Ensure the ‘Advanced Settings’ are the same in the UI and in Dataddo.
The advanced settings in Dataddo have query options such as breakdown, action report time, and attribution window settings. These settings need to match in order for the data to appear accurate according to the FB UI.
- Match the date range.
In the final step of the source creation process in Dataddo, you can select the date range of the data. You will need to click the ‘advanced settings’ button to view this. Make sure that the date range in Dataddo matches the FB UI.
- Today’s data does not match.
If you are looking for the same day’s data, it will most likely not match but will be very close. Since Facebook is constantly updating its data, you will likely be working with sampled data if you query today’s data. Due to this, It’s not recommended to query today’s data. Yesterday’s data and beyond should match what you see in your FB Ads Manager.
